Our client is on the lookout for an Underwriter: Personal Lines who will assist advisors in managing personal lines insurance policies, from initial underwriting through to policy renewals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the personal lines underwriting process from start to finish.
- Prepare for policy renewals.
- Communicate with clients and advisers.
- Prepare and provide quotations.
- Issue new policies, renewals, and endorsements.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Record and maintain detailed information in relevant systems.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification.
- NQF 4 Certificate in Short-Term Insurance (advantageous).
- RE5 Certificate (advantageous).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in personal lines underwriting.
