Responsibilities: Investment Portfolio Management – Hedge Funds
- Research and analyse existing and potential investment opportunities.
- Construct and manage investment portfolios based on the objectives of the mandate and client expectations.
- Ensure that the portfolio management and risk management processes are well defined, rigorous and consistently applied.
- Effectively interpret and utilise ongoing research to determine the appropriate improvements on solutions to ensure market dynamics are considered and effectively applied.
- Make recommendations to enhance the investment mandates to increase profitability or cost effectiveness of the investment solution.
- Monitor and report on portfolio performance across the range.
- Provide technical advice and expertise regarding the portfolio construction in order to support marketing initiatives, and in due diligence process.
- Participate and contribute pro-actively and constructively on identified investment governance forums relevant to your role and capability set.
- Research and develop new products and strategies across hedge fund, long only and structured product investments.
- Identify and analyse potential investment opportunities for the private market portfolios.
- Secure the approval of the strategy mandate through the appropriate governance structures.
- Structuring, negotiating and implementing transactions which suit the portfolio mandates.
- Preparing and presenting investment recommendations to the Investment Committee.
- Negotiating deals and conditions, and structuring transactions, including negotiating legal agreements.
- Contribute to sustaining a competitive edge through external networking and benchmarking and representation on relevant forums
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal and external stakeholders.

- Degree in Investment Management (or equivalent).
- CAIA or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in multi-manager manager selection and portfolio management.
- Exposure to multi-asset portfolio construction.
- Experience in stakeholder management.
