Our client is on the hunt for an Insure Adviser who will manage a portfolio of clients, handling both commercial and personal underwriting and ensuring seamless policy management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct face-to-face meetings with clients.
- Provide regular feedback and address client queries.
- Underwrite and manage policy renewals.
- Handle new policy applications and quotations.
- Schedule on-site client meetings.
- Maintain accurate records in the MyPractice system.
- Manage administrative documentation to ensure FAIS compliance.
- Record client details and interactions in relevant systems.
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Adhere to service level agreement deadlines.
- Act as a liaison between the office and insurance companies.
- Maintain strong working relationships with insurers.
- Generate reports and manage client retention.
- Understand policy wording and various insurance products.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 qualification.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- NQF Level 4 Full Short-Term Insurance Qualification.
- Successful completion of the Regulatory Examination (RE5) for Representatives.
- DOFA confirmation from FSCA.
- Fit and proper product-specific training.
- 6-7 years of relevant experience in short-term insurance.
- At least 4 years of personal underwriting experience.
- At least 4 years of commercial underwriting experience.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and planning skills.
- Own transport and a valid driver's license.
