- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and objectives.
- Document and validate functional and non-functional requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Evaluate current processes to identify gaps and areas for optimization.
- Recommend and document improved workflows that align with business goals.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.
- Act as a liaison between business units, IT, and third-party vendors.
- Define project scopes, timelines, and deliverables.
- Support testing efforts, including UAT and test case development.
- Analyse data to identify trends and actionable insights.
- Develop reports and dashboards that support informed decision-making.
- Promote data governance and accuracy.
- Identify opportunities to integrate AI and analytics tools into business processes.
- Collaborate with leadership on evaluating and implementing new technologies.
- Stay abreast of emerging tech trends.
- Maintain detailed documentation of systems, processes, and requirements.
- Create user manuals and training materials.
- Provide training and support to end-users.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analysis, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Business Analysis certifications (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or Agile methodologies (advantageous).
- 5–7 years in a Business Analyst role, ideally within insurance or financial services.
- Demonstrated success in delivering business and technology solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Proficient in business analysis tools and techniques.
- Familiar with AI applications and data analytics platforms.
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple priorities and projects.
