FinOps Administrator – Banking | Claremont
- Act as an authorised releaser of local and international payments.
- Review bank reconciliations and assist in resolving reconciling items.
- Review Manco unit reconciliations and help resolve any differences.
- Escalate concerns or potential issues to the FinOps Team Leader.
- Perform AML reviews received from fund managers and the management company.
- Oversee tax reporting, including reviewing PAYE reconciliations and ensuring tax submissions to SARS.
- Resolve day-to-day operational queries effectively.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers.
- Support audit processes and resolve audit queries within set deadlines.
- Stay abreast of developments in industry, legislation, and best practices to grow your professional expertise.
- BCom Honours or equivalent qualification from a recognised tertiary institution.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in financial services, ideally in financial operations within a LISP or Manco.
- Strong understanding of financial systems, data structures, and investment products.
- Experience working with reconciliations, tax submissions, and AML compliance.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Highly numerate and detail-oriented.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ethical, trustworthy, and highly organised.
- Adaptable and able to multitask in a routine-driven environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working with SQL to query data is advantageous.
